Social media has a way of exaggerating and magnifying things. People’s lives look bigger. They have big houses, big cars, big jobs, big careers, big lives. To make it bigger, people always have bigger faith on social media, big prayer lives, big Godly words, big anointing, big testimonies, big miracles, ! Everything is so big, sometimes it makes one feel small. So little. Well, not just on social media, sometimes everyone else seems to be making it big, except you.
I have felt it. Many times my life has seemed little. Only had little. Little hope, little faith, little talent, little prayers, little strength, little dreams, little plans. It feels useless, until I realized, God only needs that little..
In John 6:1-14, the little boy only had five small barley loaves and two small fish. Little right? But over 5000 men were well fed, till they had some left over.
In Matthew 17:20 Jesus says ‘Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” You have seen the word ‘Little’ right?
Remember the Widow at Zarephath, in 1 Kings 17:7-16. She said “I don’t have any bread—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug…” God used that, and we are told after she followed Elijahs instructions, the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry.
We have more examples in the Bible of God using people who had little courage, little wisdom, little experience, little titles, little righteousness. Because He is God. He is able to turn that ‘little’ into bigger.
Are you feeling ‘little; today, like you would have done much more if you had more? Be encouraged, God will use what you have. In His hands, little is much. Rejoice if you feel little, be glad if your life is little, because your miracle will be bigger.
